WallSHIELD installed into the wall cavities of new private bungalow units at a premium island resort in El Nido, Palawan.
The challenge
Premium resort accommodation sells privacy and quiet. Bungalow units built close together need both acoustic separation and a thermal break in the wall — and the site is a long way from anywhere, so a second mobilisation to fix a performance problem is expensive.
What IFI did
WallSHIELD was dense-packed into the wall cavities of the new units during construction, delivering acoustic separation and thermal resistance in one operation. IFI shipped material from the Subic Bay factory and deployed its own trained crew rather than subcontracting locally.
The outcome
Units were completed to specification on a remote island site with a single mobilisation. The project is IFI's standing reference for logistics-constrained resort work.
